Ministry is good work, and it is heavy work. Pastors and their families carry the weight of other people's crises, often without anyone carrying theirs. Leader Care exists so that no official worker in the Western Pennsylvania District carries that load alone.

We are a district family. That means the care our pastors give week after week ought to come back to them — in rest, in friendship, in real help when it is needed, and in honor when their years of service are complete.

We Desire To

Give our workers regular, unhurried time away to be refreshed in Christ.
Put a caring person within reach of every worker in the district.
Make rest something our workers can actually reach, not just be told to take.
Walk with our workers toward retirement, and honor them once they arrive.
Connect leaders quickly with trustworthy help when they need more than encouragement.
