Jolt

Jolt is a weekend retreat for our junior high students in 6th-8th grade for them to be able to experience God together and be challenged to walk in greater intimacy with Him.

Next Jolt event
Date: October 23-25, 2026

Speaker: Jackson Richardson
Jackson Richardson serves as the Student Ministries Pastor at Hyland Heights Baptist Church in Rustburg, Virginia, and is an Associate Professor at Liberty University. He and his wife, Ellie, enjoy spending time together with their dog, Poppy. When he’s not teaching or serving students, you’ll probably find him camping, woodworking, or restoring old cars. Jackson is passionate about helping students know Jesus, grow in their faith, and see how God’s Word speaks to every part of life. He is excited to spend the week at camp opening the Bible together and seeing what God will do!

Worship: Matt and Zuli Mason
For Matt and Zuli Mason, worship is their life song. This husband-and-wife worship leading duo draw from a heritage of gospel, jazz, and contemporary Christian music to create a Spirit-filled sound that uniquely flows through them. Though they are both established artists in their own right, they cherish every opportunity to do ministry together. They are proud parents to their sons Ezra and Elisha Mason and honored to be spiritual parents to many more young people through their work at Urban Impact Foundation.
