Great Commission Connections (GCC) has been designed to provide missions education material and assist in the promotion of missions within the local church. It is published quarterly and follows the same fields of study as the Alliance Women's Resource material.
The CD contains three newsletters for the featured countries and other missions resources that will be helpful for your missions education. For example: a newsletter will include articles written by international workers, prayer requests, Everyday Connections, etc. In the past we have added information regarding the International Worker' Prayer Letters, Children's Mission Project, Short Term Missions, Mission Tour schedules, Mission Conference ideas, Mission Impact, etc.
We trust that the information on the quarterly CDs will prove to be beneficial to you and your church as you seek to promote and provide missions education for your people. We are seeking to serve you and assist you by providing this missions education resource.
When we ask the International Workers for permission to use some of their materials or to ask them to contribute an article, they are so thankful that we are helping to spread the word about the amazing work they are doing in distant lands. Read about the challenges they face each day: teaching, treating the sick, finding buildings to house their ministry, being separated form their children, dealing with foreign governments, learning different languages, and many other hardships. We are so thankful that our workers are committed to do their part in "Pushing Back the Darkness."
