God is inviting the U.S. Alliance family into “the unfinished”—that sacred space where He is weaving your church’s unfinished journey together with the unfinished stories of those who do not yet know Him, and the unfinished mission He has called us to help complete together.

International Workers:

  • Robert and Cheryl Fugate (two units): Following pastoral ministry in State College, PA, they served with the Alliance for 24 years in Santiago, Chile, before accepting a call to redeploy to Guadalajara (GDL), Mexico in 2014. Since July 2014 they have been engaged in church planting and in April 2015 launched a new church, Breath of Life. In 2016 the church purchased property and in 2017 Bob and Cheryl crystallized the strategic vision 5/5/25 and Southpointe project. They are praying for five campus churches in GDL, and five church groups in surrounding states by the year 2025.
  • George and Doris N. (two units in spring): George and Doris both attended Toccoa Falls College and their home district is Alliance Southeast. Doris is a nurse and George is the Field Team Leader for their field in West Africa.
  • Darrell P.: He has been an International Worker with the Alliance for 35 years. He served in the Middle East, North Africa and most recently, working with Syrian refugees in Berlin, Germany. He has been involved in teaching, church planting and evangelism.
  • Jeff and Heather Williams (two units): They are serving in Cambodia working with the children of those with whom they labored decades ago! Participating with the Cambodian National Church, two Ministry Training Centers, have produced close to 100 graduated now, each one part of the story of God's grace and plan for reaching this country. Their latest assignment is with the Addiction Recovery Center.
  • G. David and Lu Ann Woerner (one unit): They will be retiring soon after serving in Chile for forty years. They have been involved in church planting, Children's Ministries, and Orphanage Ministry and also implemented the Alliance Marriage Encounter ministry (ALMA) in France and Cairo, Egypt. David and Lu Ann are currently residing in New Castle, PA.

“We need to finish our unfinished work. We need to do the things that we have thought of doing, intended to do, talked about doing, and are abundantly able to do." ~ A. B. Simpson, August 1890

Missions Emphasis resources from the National Office will be mailed to each Alliance church in July.

Supporting Scripture:

“Our hope is that, as your faith continues to grow, our sphere of activity among you
will greatly expand, so that we can preach the gospel in the regions beyond you.” (
2 Corinthians 10:15b-16a (NIV)

“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you
will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” (
Philippians 1:6 ESV)
