NATIONAL PROJECT 2011-2012
EQUIPPING NATIONALS TO REACH THE NATIONS
"SIMPLY FRAGRANT"
God uses us to spread His knowledge everywhere like a sweet-smelling perfume. Our offering to God is this: We are the sweet smell of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are being lost" (2 Corinthians 2:14b-15).
Susan Bernard
National AW Director

ALLIANCE WOMEN MINISTRIES
The Alliance Women Ministries of the Western Pennsylvania District is an auxiliary ministry of The Christian and Missionary Alliance and exists to be a movement of Great Commission Christian Women who are glorifying God by building Christ's Church worldwide. All women attending a Christian and Missionary Alliance church are part of the Alliance Women Ministries.
Alliance Women Ministries have five main objectives:
-
FELLOWSHIP: To build healthy, caring relationships among women in the local church.
-
DISCIPLESHIP: To encourage study of God's Word, teaching women to follow Christ and to be built up in their faith.
-
OUTREACH: To equip women to share God's love and the message of the gospel with family, friends and neighbors.
-
MISSIONS: to involve women in the worldwide ministries of the Alliance through intercession, short-term missions, support of overseas workers and their families, and an annual project that serves specified needs in various countries.
-
TO PROMOTE CORPORATE AND INDIVIDUAL PRAYER FOR: Alliance overseas workers, the ministries of the local church, church planting in the United States, and prayer for individuals.
Women's Leadership Studies
Susan Bernard, AWM Director
Women's Leadership Studies was developed to motivate, equip, and empower women to take a more active role in women's ministries. If you have a desire to reach women in your church and community for Christ, this is an opportunity to receive the leadership training you need.
Alliance Women Ministries is committed to train and encourage women to be more effective in ministering to others. We have developed an excellent program of study which is available to you. These studies are geared to prepare committed Christian women who have a desire to expand their competence to serve well in their churches and communities.
Qualified and experienced instructors will guide you through eight leadership courses essential to help you realize your full potential as a leader and will help you grow in your personal walk with Christ.
